Welcome to Our Comprehensive Collection of Detailed Primary and Secondary School Reports and Data
At the School Health Research Network (SHRN), we are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children and young people across Wales. Established as a collaborative effort between schools, academic researchers, and health policymakers, SHRN focuses on generating high-quality evidence to inform health and well-being improvement strategies in educational settings.
Insights for Healthier Learning and Well-Being
Our reports deliver valuable insights gathered from extensive surveys conducted in primary and secondary schools. These surveys focus on essential health and well-being metrics, providing the data needed to make informed decisions. By leveraging this information, we aim to foster healthier environments that support the well-being and success of all learners.
By engaging with 100% of secondary schools, and more than 50% of primary schools in Wales (as per our 2024 inaugural primary school survey), SHRN not only benchmarks data but also supports the implementation of effective health and well-being interventions throughout learners’ educational journeys.
